Bins for Roofing Shingles
Roofs are measured in 100 sq ft sections called "squares".  With a single layered shingle roof you can fit 4 squares into 1 cubic yard.
The following is an estimation only:
 40 squares 
 (4000 sq ft) 10 yard container
 80 squares
 (8000 sq ft) 20 yard container
120 squares
(12000 sq ft) 30 yard container
160 squares
(16000 sq ft) 40 yard container *
